What You Should Know About PaxOnline
PAXonline is the only online clinic in Romania dedicated to the scientific treatment of anxiety, offering services for three categories of beneficiaries: patients, psychotherapists, and physicians. The clinic was developed by the COGNITROM group of specialists (see Who developed the PAXonline Clinic?).
The PAXonline clinic was launched in 2012 (version 1), then was updated in 2019 (version 2). It is currently served by over 280 licensed psychotherapists (see Who are the PAXonline psychotherapists?).
It is estimated that over the course of a lifetime, 1 in 3 people will face an anxiety disorder. Although the frequency of anxiety problems is very high, they often go undiagnosed or unaddressed in traditional medical services.
In response to these challenges, COGNITROM developed the online clinic for the scientific treatment of anxiety: PAXonline. Online psychotherapy is already a widely used method in many countries, and the results of recent studies support its effectiveness in treating anxiety. PAXonline is the only online clinic in Romania that can offer people with anxiety problems evaluation and intervention services online at international standards.
PAXonline complements the services offered by the DEPRETER Clinic for the scientific treatment of depression.
The PAXONLINE Clinic offers you online access to comprehensive psychological services for understanding and combating anxiety:
- Basic psychological evaluation (diagnosis) and advanced evaluation (mechanisms, causes, associated problems)
- Psychotherapy treatment structured into multimedia therapeutic modules
- Scientific data about all aspects of anxiety (statistics, causes, the biology of anxiety) presented in articles and video materials in easy-to-understand language.
You can benefit from all PAXONLINE services on your own (on your own schedule, following the instructions provided at every step) or with the assistance of a psychotherapist, whom you can consult through messages or through online psychotherapy sessions.
